Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung said that despite the unemployment rate in Jakarta is lower than the national average, he still urged his staff to prioritize job creation in the capital.

"I have already asked all levels of staff to ensure that our APBD creates job opportunities," he expressed, at Fatmawati MRT Station, Tuesday (9/16).

One of the efforts by the Jakarta Government is to open recruitment in various sectors, including the Fire and Rescue Agency (Gulkarmat), with the results to be announced on Wednesday (9/17).

In addition, job creation is also made through the organization of job fairs.

"With the Gulkarmat for instance, the announcement of those who pass early will be made tomorrow. Then the same will be done elsewhere, including the job fair that is held," he explained.

He added, the Jakarta Government, together with the Central Government, will continue efforts to reduce the unemployment rate.
